Getting to the Ice Pub
The Ice Pub is located in Nagoya town, which is the main ‘city’ of Batam. The nearest ferry terminal to Nagoya is the Batu Ampar ferry terminal, as it is only five minutes from Nagoya. Taxi prices range from Rp.20,000 (US$2.50) per trip for up to 4 passengers. Your safest bet is to book a taxi from the taxi counter desk at the ferry terminal and not attempt to haggle with any of the taxi operators outside the arrival exit. For the more adventurous, at the Batu Ampar ferry teminal, you can take a motorcycle taxi called an ‘ojek’ for just Rp.5,000 direct to the Ice Pub.
